Tip of the Day: Staying the Course. It's one of the most challenging things to do when the picture of what you desire is not showing forth. It is the time when you are most vulnerable to quitting and feeling despair. It is the mental weight of wanting to push ahead when so much is on your shoulders. However, this is the time when you must stay the course. These are the times when you ask yourself is it worth it. These are the moments when doubt circles like a vulture waiting to devour your spirit and claim your soul. However, this is the time when you must stay the course.
How does one handle this moment of temporary despair and a sense of failure? How do you forge ahead when it seems as if you are so close to your dreams and nothing appears to be happening despite all the work that you have put in and continue to put in? How do you move when your eyes are filled with tears and you are demanding so much of yourself and nothing is working?
First, let me say that as I speak to you I am speaking to myself. I, like you get weary and at times wonder when that magic moment of victory will show forth. So rest assured that you are not alone in your feelings. You are not alone! With that said, I will share with you my process of keeping sane and connected with the Creator. My process is quite simple and I highly recommend you try it.
Still yourself. It's that simple. Be still. Still yourself and rest your heart within the bosom of the universe. Be quiet. Release yourself to the presence and lay your burden down. Sit within the presence for a few minutes and allow yourself to feel that all is well. Really feel that all is well and state that all is well. Continue to feel and state that all is well until you feel your senses begin to rise and you feel better. Yes, your problems to solve still remain, however, your spirit should feel renewed and you are back on course. If you must repeat this until you feel better then please rinse and repeat. Whatever it takes to get you back on course then do so. The issue to be solved is to stay on course and this is your mandate.
Whatever you must do to avoid a life filled with regret and what-ifs then do that. It doesn't matter what it is as long as it isn't a substance. The only substance that should be ingested is the presence of the Creator which will fill you with the strength to continue to move forward and to STAY THE COURSE.
Until the next time,
