It is the one thing that can literally drive you mad. It is a feeling that seems to move within your body like a quiet deadly storm. You feel the pulsating of it as you consider the issues you are facing. It nestles within the bosom of your chest and glides like molasses moving from trees.
It's pressure. I am here to tell you today that it is not a good feeling and the one thing you can do to give it power is to submit to it. At the root of pressure is FEAR. The mightiest warrior known to mankind. It stalks you as a wild animal stalks its next victim. It follows you wherever you go and clouds your thinking as to not allow you to make a sound decision to relive the valve and release it. It comes in waves and when you succumb to it; you are DONE!
Pressure is another means of attack for fear. It is another weapon for fear. When you break it down and take a very close look at it; it is a NOTHING. Tremendous air with nothing backing it but fear. To alleviate the pressure that you are feeling please consider the following:
1. Ask yourself WHY you are feeling the pressure. If you for example are loosing your home or your job; would it make sense to let it go? Only you can answer that. If you felt something when you considered that, then maybe you should give it more consideration.
2. FEEL the pressure. What does it feel like? Is there an undertone of "what people may think of you?" If so, ask yourself "if you release the pressure which may mean letting something go "will you die?"
There are many ways to release pressure; however, these two will open a few doors within your mind that will lead to other doors of solving the issue. Take a DEEP BREATH, EXHALE and REPEAT. Sit down and become VERY STILL. Listen VERY CAREFULLY because within that stillness you will find your answer and the pressure will automatically reside.
