I try not to use the word never. It's finite and unchangeable. Sometimes, it places us in situations that we have no desire to be because we have said never will I do this or never will I do that. However, there are times when the use of the word never is appropriate and it relates to our spiritual journey. Below, I have listed the times when the word never is most appropriate and highly important:
NEVER:
Degrade yourself or others.
Lie to yourself or others.
Give up on your most cherished dreams.
Humiliate a child in front of others.
Imitate anyone other than the view of yourself.
Ask for more than you are willing to give.
Point the finger at someone when you are fully aware you should be pointing at yourself.
Stop believing in yourself.
Stop trusting your own instinct.
Stop thanking the Creator for your blessings and tribulations.
Avoid a moment of forgiveness.
There are many more "good nevers" and this list is just a reminder of how many we have.
Until the next time,
Peaceful thoughts,
