Relief from your struggle is a quick post I wish to share with you. I have been handling a few personal issues and one day I cried out " I want so badly to have relief from my struggle." I wish to unburden myself and cast my yoke unto the Creator. I wish to place my burden down and walk away. However, with all of the wisdom that I have gained throughout my lifetime...my tool bag was not offering relief.
Then it occurred to me, the one tool I was not using was my faith. I realized I was not walking the walk that I so proudly spoke of each month when I posted my messages to you. I realized I was withholding my blessings because I was fixated on the appearance of "what had occured" as opposed to "what was occurring." I was keeping the door of my blessings blocked. It wasn't the Creator...it was my position. I was not holding to my faith that all would be resolved.
Faith is the ability to look beyond what the eyes can see. Faith is the ability to understand that the physical creates one picture; while faith gives an opportunity to see what is beyond the eye. I realized I needed this experience. I needed to fully see that during our lifetime we will be tested on our faith. We will be tested on what we hold to be true. We will be tested on our beliefs. We will be tested on whether we will walk the talk as we walk the walk. We all will be tested.
The beauty of the Creator's test is that you will fail the test until you pass the test. I had to be humbled and understand I had many tests and this is one I so wanted to pass. I had to understand that until we leave this earth...the Creator will issue tests. However, the Creator issues the tests so we may experience ourselves with and without our faith as our guideposts. As Paul stated, "we must learn to rejoice in our trials and tribulations."
If you are seeking relief from your struggle...seek and hold on to your faith. Even as the water flows close to your ears and you feel as if you are certain to drown...you will not drown. You will emerge from the water renewed and realize that your faith is sustainable and the Creator will never, ever let you drown. Reach for the invisible hand within your spirit and never let it leave your mind, This is the great struggle and the relief you are seeking. Keep holding onto the Creator's invisible hand. That is your faith That is your relief from your struggle. Yes...it's hard! Yes...you may feel as if your spirit is bursting with stress...keep holding the hand of faith and you will find the relief in your struggle. It's guaranteed!
Until the next time,
