Hello My Friends! I hope and pray that you and your loved ones are well. It's been quite an experience. Please be safe and take care of YOURSELF!
Our world is different. Our life is different. We are different. This unseen force has wrecked havoc upon our hearts, souls and spirits. We have been fortunate to have never experienced the likes of this madness before. I pray that this will be the only time, ever!
There isn't much that I can say except...Stay strong. Remain calm. Protect yourself. What I know for certain is that somewhere there is a rainbow and each day I continue to pray for the rainbow to appear. I found this video of Sarah Vaughan singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and thought it may add a small smile to your face...as it did mine. Enjoy!
Until the next time,
Hello My Friends! I hope you and your loved ones are okay and you're being responsible to yourselves and to others. Our lives depend upon us making wise choices!
My message is simple this month: Stay safe and remain calm. Yes, the news of this virus is alarming and it can be challenging to follow the rules. However, please be responsible when you're around others and maintain social distancing. It's important...extremely important!
None of us wishes to experience this worldwide crisis. Nor do we wish to be locked down in our homes. It's against our nature to remain still for hours at a time. Yet, it may be what we need.
Maybe the Creator is allowing us time to reset out lives and most importantly our priorities.
Quite possibly, we needed to refocus our lives and this was the only means that the entire world would listen. It seems rather harsh, however, the world may have needed this extreme measure.
I don't have an answer as to why and I would not presume to have an answer. Yet, I am confident enough to say the following: Pray, Stay Safe and Remain Calm.
Until the next time,
Hello My Friends! I hope all is well with you and your loved ones.
How are you? is a question that we often ask of others and yet I am going to assume that you most likely don't ask that of yourselves. When is the last time you asked yourself "how are you?" When you consider the question it may cause you to pause and ask you...HOW ARE YOU?
How are you really? When is the last time that you checked in on yourself? When is the last time you stood in front of your mirror and asked how are you doing. This is something I suggest you consider. Just stand for a few moments and ask yourself the question. Wait a few moments and you will begin to hear the answer. If you're okay...perfect, if not, continue to listen.
Asking yourself "how are you?" will do you good. I promise. If you're doing well, congratulate yourself and continue to improve. If thoughts arise that give you pause...then pause and consider what you're hearing. Whatever you discover when you ask the question...you're okay. Keep that in mind...you're okay!
Until the next time,
Hello My Friends! I hope all is well with you and your loved ones!
Relief from your struggle is a quick post I wish to share with you. I have been handling a few personal issues and one day I cried out " I want so badly to have relief from my struggle." I wish to unburden myself and cast my yoke unto the Creator. I wish to place my burden down and walk away. However, with all of the wisdom that I have gained throughout my lifetime...my tool bag was not offering relief.
Then it occurred to me, the one tool I was not using was my faith. I realized I was not walking the walk that I so proudly spoke of each month when I posted my messages to you. I realized I was withholding my blessings because I was fixated on the appearance of "what had occured" as opposed to "what was occurring." I was keeping the door of my blessings blocked. It wasn't the Creator...it was my position. I was not holding to my faith that all would be resolved.
Faith is the ability to look beyond what the eyes can see. Faith is the ability to understand that the physical creates one picture; while faith gives an opportunity to see what is beyond the eye. I realized I needed this experience. I needed to fully see that during our lifetime we will be tested on our faith. We will be tested on what we hold to be true. We will be tested on our beliefs. We will be tested on whether we will walk the talk as we walk the walk. We all will be tested.
The beauty of the Creator's test is that you will fail the test until you pass the test. I had to be humbled and understand I had many tests and this is one I so wanted to pass. I had to understand that until we leave this earth...the Creator will issue tests. However, the Creator issues the tests so we may experience ourselves with and without our faith as our guideposts. As Paul stated, "we must learn to rejoice in our trials and tribulations."
If you are seeking relief from your struggle...seek and hold on to your faith. Even as the water flows close to your ears and you feel as if you are certain to drown...you will not drown. You will emerge from the water renewed and realize that your faith is sustainable and the Creator will never, ever let you drown. Reach for the invisible hand within your spirit and never let it leave your mind, This is the great struggle and the relief you are seeking. Keep holding onto the Creator's invisible hand. That is your faith That is your relief from your struggle. Yes...it's hard! Yes...you may feel as if your spirit is bursting with stress...keep holding the hand of faith and you will find the relief in your struggle. It's guaranteed!
Until the next time,
Hello My Friends! I hope you are well and are welcoming the season of renewal!
This is the beginning of the beginning. This is your time. This is your moment. This is your story. If your story isn't unfolding as you would like...Renew and Rewrite!
The season of renewal is now! The season of renewal has begun! The season of renewal is yours for the taking and can only be renewed by you.
As you stand and look down the road of renewal...what do you see? Are the pastures and roads lined with the scenery of grace, beauty and wisdom? Are your thoughts in line with your view? Are you able to stop and really feel the moment or do ghosts of memories past cloud the sky?
Renew my friend! This is the season to renew. All that you need and want is there before you and waiting for you to hold it in your hand. It's your time my friend..Right now!!
Take this opportunity and "season" your renewal with the spices that will maintain and sustain you. Take this time to nourish your spirit and soul and taste the success of your renewal.
It's your time my friend! The season of renewal is upon you and within you. Taste and savor the sweet nectar of your success before you actually manifest it. It will be even sweeter when you make it yours!
Until the next time,
Hello My Friends! I hope all is well and you continue to strive toward being who you are.
Doubt is a serious task master. She has existed for hundreds of millions of years and will continue her mission many moons after we've moved to the next state. She is persistent and is always a challenge to what we know to be true.
Doubt according to most spiritual points is the most tenacious of all; as through her all of the others will follow. Doubt brings fear and we know that with fear the pictures that she creates can alter the spirit and cause the eyes to believe unknown terrors that may afflict us.
When doubt arises...PRAY! Kneel, bend, squat or stand..just pray! Pray that doubt is leaving. Pray that doubt flees from your spirit with speed. Pray that doubt cannot stand with you as you know that you and the Creator are a mighty army and together you have through billions of years...remained undefeated.
Pray my friends! Pray with intensity. Pray with faith. Pray knowing that the circumstances that are causing a division within your soul will be solved. Simply pray! When in doubt and with doubt...Pray.
Until the next time...
Hello My Friends! I hope you and those you love are well.
How many of us are still hanging on to things we did many years ago? How many can sit in the memory and feel as if "that thing" happened yesterday. How long do we sit "with that thing"?
I would take a wild guess and state "it is most of us."
My message to you....Forgive yourself...please forgive yourself! Why? Because "that thing" you did is over and your road to forgiving yourself is to let it go; so you may begin your healing. Easier said than done...of course. However, you must let it go. If not, you will not move forward. You will not become what you are striving for. You will remain in the the shadow of that thing and constantly remind yourself that you still are that person that did that thing. It's not true!
Forgiving yourself is so freeing. Forgiving yourself is the step toward loving yourself. Forgiving yourself is not allowing that thing to define you for the rest of your life. Let the thing go. It's not holding on to you...you are holding on to that thing. The only power it has is the power you give it. Repeat..The only power it has is the power you allow. Why give your power to a nothing?
Set yourself free. Put the thing where it should be...in the black hole of nothingness and never to be seen or heard from again. Please set yourself free!
Until the next time..
